“That Discomfort You’re Feeling Is Grief” What is that feeling you have in reaction to the spread of the coronavirus and being ordered to “shelter in place?” It is grief, according to David Kessler, who co-wrote with Elisabeth Kubler-Ross the classic On Grief and Grieving: Finding the Meaning of Grief through the Five Stages of Loss. Right now, says Kessler, “we’re feeling a number of different griefs. We feel the world has changed, and it has. We know this is temporary, but it doesn’t feel that way, and we realize things will be different. Just as going to the airport is forever different from how it was before 9/11, things will change and this is the point at which they changed.” Read more.

Exhale to Inhale is an organization founded to help people experience the benefits of yoga in reducing stress. The group is offering membership in a new online community — A Space to Breathe — providing six weeks of free classes that will explore anchoring, connection, restoration, body awareness, empowerment and resilience.

Yale University is offering a free 10-week course on The Science of Well-Being. Its goal is to help you increase your own happiness and build more productive habits.
